Greetings from hot and humid Albertville, Alabama. We’re staying cool by working outside only in the mornings. Warner House Press continues to be busy, with many projects nearing completion and others just getting started. The reviews on Google continue to come in—your kind words are very much appreciated!
Warner House Press has a new phone number: (256) 660-0232.
Fourth of July Sale
Our Fourth of July Sale was a bust, unfortunately. Only three books were sold through the website, although there may have been other sales as a result of the advertising through Ingram Spark channels. We will find new advertising avenues and are continuing to spread the word locally.
Word Weavers Chapter to be Launched July 31st
We are excited to be part of the Word Weavers Sand Mountain chapter, which has its first meeting this Saturday. Working with the folks at Word Weavers International has been a blessing and we have had a good amount of interest. As many of you know, we were part of the Northern Arizona chapter and owe much of our growth as writers, editors, and publishers to that organization. The lessons we learned there will serve us in good stead here in Albertville. The folks at Sand Mountain Reporter were kind enough to publish an article about the meeting. You can find it here.
Second Edition of New England Ramblings Published
We received copies of the second edition of New England Ramblings and it is beautiful! Sales have been good and we are continuing to get the word out about this fine book. Even if you have a copy of the first edition, this one includes ten pages of new content that make it a worthwhile buy. Please contact me or order through the website at https://warner.house/store. Congratulations to Jim for authoring a work fostering revival in New England, and to Robert Warner for his impeccable design of both editions.
Warner House Press Podcast Coming Next Month
After several months of preparation and research, we are ready to start a podcast featuring book readings, interviews, and other items of interest. Once things get rolling, I will be contacting our authors to gauge their interest in being interviewed. We will be using the same platform as this newsletter for distribution, so all subscribers will automatically receive the podcasts as they are made available. The podcast will also be available on Apple Podcasts, as well as other services once it starts.
